Our History

Founded in 2019 by Validum Agamburram, Academics began with a focus on teacher development, aiming to refine pedagogical skills and enhance educational outcomes. Over the years, we have grown into a trusted provider of personalized one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, specializing in Mathematics and Physical Sciences for students in both public and private schools.

Meet the Founder

Validum Agamburram brings a wealth of expertise to Academics, holding qualifications in Mathematics and Physical Sciences and boasting over 25 years of experience in the field. His exceptional talent in Physical Sciences enabled him to ascend rapidly through the ranks of the schooling system. For 15 years, he served as a Physical Sciences Subject Advisor in the Tshwane West District, where he provided invaluable support and guidance to educators.

Mr. Validum Agamburram: Experience and Contributions

Over his 15 years as a Physical Sciences Subject Advisor and Senior Education Specialist, Mr. Agamburram has made significant contributions to education through the following roles and accomplishments:

  • Examination Expertise
    • Acted as an examiner for controlled tests, June examinations, and final examinations at the district level.
    • Coordinated examinations involving three districts: Tshwane West, Gauteng North, and Tshwane North.
  • Marking Leadership
    • Served as Deputy Chief Marker and Senior Marker, beginning his Grade 12 marking journey in 2002.
  • District Leadership
    • Held the position of Deputy Chief Education Specialist for the Senior Phase at Gauteng North District Office (2019–2022).
  • Authorship
    • Contributed to educational resources as an author for Oxford University Press, penning Zoom In and Success Ahead SCIENCE.
  • Private Tutoring Legacy
    • With 26 years of tutoring experience, Mr. Agamburram has guided countless students, many of whom have gone on to successful careers as engineers, teachers, doctors, accountants, and actuaries.
